We’re thrilled to be able to share that Performing Arts etc have been awarded £25,000 from the second round of the Governments Culture Recovery Fund.

It’s been a year since all of our projects were cancelled, and it is incredibly exciting that Arts Council England have seen fit to support us in this way. It will help us get practitioners back to work and to reach out to partners old and new, and make plans for exciting projects going forwards.

We believe that for schools, communities and businesses creativity should be at the heart of building our way out of this pandemic; writing songs, sharing stories, holding memories and sharing hopes for the future.

Thanks to this support from Arts Council England and the Government, we can continue to be #HereForCulture

Culture creates jobs, supports livelihoods, and brings joy to everyone. The UK leads the world in the creative industries and we can all feel pride in that.

#HereForCulture is a movement that unites the public, government and cultural organisations in support of our fantastic cinemas, theatres, music venues, museums, galleries and heritage.

With more and more culture being curated online, there is no better time to support and enjoy all the new and exciting ways culture is available to us.

By being #HereForCulture, we aren’t just supporting the people in the industry, we’re also supporting communities across the country.
